How to log into your domain's cPanel interface PDF Print E-mail

In order to log in to your cPanel administration site to manage your domain files and settings, perform the following steps:

  1. Open a web browser and browse to http://www.yourdomain.ltd/cpanel
  2. Enter in your website username and password. - If you're unable to log in, or you're unsure of your username or password, you will need to contact support over the phone so we can help you.
  3. You should now see the cPanel interface load up.
  • Note: - If your domain's www A record is pointed to another provider's server, (i.e. we're only hosting mail for you), you will need to browse to http://cp01.dakotacom.net/cpanel to access your domain's interface.
  • If your site is hosted with another provider, then you will only be able to use the cPanel interface to manage your domain's e-mail accounts. For more information on managing your domain's e-mail, reference this help article: - How to manage your domain's e-mail accounts.

There are many features to cPanel. Clicking on the icon in the top right corner, will give you help screens for the current page or section of the interface that you are in.

Along with the help option are video tutorials to help explain how each feature gets used. To access the video tutorials, click on the icon, located in the preferences section of your site's interface.
